Stakeholders in the Ministry of Environment, Protection of Nature, and Sustainable Development have taken significant steps to identify and develop financing mechanisms for biodiversity in the country. The officials made the resolution on Monday February 17. This was during the launch of a two-day awareness and information workshop with a focus on the Biodiversity Finance Initiative, BIOFIN. The workshop was presided over by the Secretary General of the ministry, Prof Paul Tchawa, who sat in on behalf of Minister Hele Pierre.
