Athletes of Mbororo origin from the North West Region dominated the 2025 edition of the Mt Cameroon Race of Hope, winning top prizes in the senior and junior male categories. The annual mountaineering event was organised in Buea, South West Region on Saturday February 22. The race produced the unexpected, with a new winner in the senior male category. Useini Hassan who has been taking part in the race since 2018, showed proof of resilience and determination, winning gold.
