The Institute of Agricultural Research for Development, IRAD, has mapped out strategies for better output this year. This was on Thursday February 20, during the annual conference of the institution, which took place at the IRAD headquarters in Nkolbisong, Yaounde.
It was an occasion for the heads of various operational structures to present their 2025 action plan.
Presenting an overview of the activities of IRAD in 2024, the Deputy Director General, Dr Francis Ngome, said it was marked by many tasks and issues for which IRAD was called upon, including climate change, emerging diseases, sustainable funding of research activities and valourisation of research findings.
