The Divisional Officer, DO, of Yaounde IV Subdivision, Akonfi Elvis Mbahangwen, has sealed several inns in the Mimboman and Emombo neighbourhoods of his administrative unit. He said the inns had since been turned into prostitution hubs. The inns were sealed recently by the forces of law and order on the instructions of the administrative authority. Reacting to the development, the traditional ruler of Mimboman I East, His Majesty Yannick Ndzana, regretted that several houses in the area have been turned to inns.
