The charts are drawn like the Natal Charts: They give visual illusion into reading the Navamsa chart like the Natal charts. The non existant or should not be considered houses, conjunctions, exaltations, debilitations of planets are read from the Navamsa, which leads up the red carpet into the blunder land in Astrology. The senior and famous an astrologer is, more does he blunderize astrology applying Navamsa with utmost unscientific and irrational skill. In this Astrological magazine and K.N. I have chosen the irrational horoscopy of these captains of Astrology to encourage the Astrologers to unlearn what they learnt from them and save themselves from practicing negative and bogus astrology. In such circumstances strong repramand only helps counter the strongly worded bogus astrology sold at high price to the students of astrology. It is easy to teach pure astrology or any subject for that matter to fresh students; but is extremely difficult to correct dogmatized students and half backed astrologers, unless harsh stance is applied. That is why I have used harsh and some times rough language to drive home a point of truth and nail down an untruth. Inspite of best of personal relations I have with K.N. Rao, I could not help myself being averse to his blabbering egoistic books projecting absolute untruth and non-sense as a great research finding. It is some thing like self abuse. Since 15 years with the aid of exhibiting charts, projecting slides, article and lectures I have been trying to project the scientific application of Navamsa, which had no corrective effect among the seniors. They seem to be glorifying in their own wrongs. For that reason only this book is brought out. A very senior respectable and sincere Astrologer who is famous for his books on Astakavargas once told me in Bombay, that he is about to publish a book co-authored by a budding great lady Astrologer, the daughter of a famous Astrologer, about the Astakavargas with reference to Navamsa. The very idea of Astakavargas on Navamsa charts is purely unscientific and unastrological. I explained how blunderous his proposition was and told him that I will write a book exposing his book as a dupe. He is not dogmatic. He is a millioner. For him Astrology is a godess to worship. He is not interested in publicity. He is afraid of disrepute. So he could be easily convinced that he has embarked on a misadventure mislead by his coauthor. (who was like his daughter). The publication of the book was given up. May God bless him with long life. Navamsa is 1/9th of a Rasi. A rasi has 9 navamsas and nine Nakshatra quarters. A navamsa and a nakshatra pada (quarter) is of 3° 20' in extent. The navamsa and a nakshatra quarter are coterminus. That means a planet can be located either in a navamsa or in a nakshatra quarter, which will be the same location in the Zodiac. When referring to a navamsa it should be with reference to the rasi. It should be like "Aries navamsa of Taurus Rasi or Aries navamsa. coterminus with Rohini Ist Quarter". There are 9 Aries navamsas in the Zodiac. If they are not properly designated or addressed with reference to the Rasi of its location or the Nakshatra quarter to which it belongs, a lot of confusion will be created. The mode of drawing the navamsa chart like that of the natal chart itself is the cause for all the confusion and misrepresentation all these years. The Navamsa chart is expected to be read like.
