*Technician (10 Posts)* *Department of Geography Geospatial Science and Earth Observation* *Department of Biotechnology and Biochemistry* *Qualifications, Experience and Attributes*  At least a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Biochemistry, Biological Sciences or Chemistry.  Applicants should have a strong background in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology and Bioinformatics.  Have a minimum of two years relevant experience working in a Science Laboratory or in an academic research institution.  Be computer literate. *Responsibilities*  Ability to run practical’s in the biotechnology and biochemistry laboratory.  Preparation and setting up of practical’s for Medical and Science classes, Participating in research activities, Procuring of laboratory equipment and chemicals, Care and maintenance of chemical stores and laboratory equipment, Analysis of samples for both research and consultancy and any other duties assigned by the Chief Technician. *TO APPLY* All applications will be treated in the strictest confidence.
