02 FEBRUARY 2025 WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION Notice is hereby given as follows: We are experiencing a drop in pressure from our raw water supply at the Howiesonspoort pumstation and a reduction in raw water inlet to the Waainek Water Treament Works. There is a high possibility of a major water leak on the pipeline. The Municipality’s plumbing team is currently walking the pipeline. Due to this, the municipality’s supply resevoirs are low, and the following areas will experience water supply shortages: 📍Army Base 📍Prison, 📍Hill 60, 📍Sunnyside, 📍Parts of Rhodes University, 📍Cradock Heights, 📍Oatlands North, 📍Somerset Heights and 📍Upper Somerset Street.
