03 February 2025 WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION The following notice is hereby given to the residents of Makhanda. The asbestos pipe contractor is scheduled to carry out five (5) tie-ins at Valley Road, switching over from the old to the new water pipe network tomorrow, 04 February. The works require closing of the Bothas hill reservoir for the entire day. The Botha's Hill Resevoir supplies the entire eastern side. Sufficient time is also required to allow curing of the concrete thrust block. Therefore, there will be no water supply on the eastern side tomorrow, Tuesday, 04 February 2025.
