Highly Cherished, the greatest deliverance our generation needs may be to know that love is not a feeling. A significant characteristic of love is that it never dies. Feelings die all the time. Feelings die when you discover that a person is not as good as they made you think they were. Love always knew that the person was not that good but accepted them all the same. Feelings look for who will make it better. Love looks for who it will make better. Please, know that when your feeling for someone dies, your love for the person is still alive.
