Highly Cherished, temptations are better avoided than resisted. Scripture says, _*“Remove your way far from her, And do not go near the door of her house” Pr. 5.8.*_ “Her” here is not a person but a reference to the temptation, whatever it is. Having an environment that facilitates the life you want to live is always more effective than exercising your willpower to behave well in the wrong environment. Your willpower is like a muscle; it gets tired after a while. Samson didn’t want to tell Delilah the source of his power. Instead of parting ways with a woman who clearly seeks his fall, he trusted his willpower to handle the situation. He fell to her constant vexation. Note: If an option is not available, you cannot choose it. Have a productive day.

Welcome to the beautiful month of June. It is going to be a time to reset, recharge, and renew. May this month bring you fresh opportunities, deeper joy, answered prayers, and beautiful surprises. What hasn’t worked in the past months will begin to work henceforth. The LORD says to tell us this month; "Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.'" Isaiah 41:10 I wish each and every one of us peace, love, health, and endless blessings all through June. Let’s make every day count. 💫

Hello, I trust you are doing great. Rules are good, but rules confine people and limit how far they can go and explore. I am not an advocate of lawlessness, but no one who made it in the business world made it following the texts thought in business schools. Have a reflective night rest

Highly Cherished, one reason for perpetuation of poverty is lack of understanding of the purpose of wealth. Poor people think money is for eating. Scripture says it is a defence, Eccl. 7.12. Money is for defending the agenda of the possessor whether righteous or not. The wise man said, _*“The rich man's wealth is his strong city; The destruction of the poor is their poverty.” Pr. 10.15.*_ A strong city defends its inhabitants. However, it is built. Any money you get is one more block for building your strong city. Don’t eat it away! Treasure it. Save it. Invest it and multiply it. We all can reflect on how much money has entered our hands over the years. Sadly, not much of it entered into the building of our strong city. Let’s do better! Have a great week.

Highly Cherished, it should be obvious that we are not the source of truth. We often say what we think as if it is truth. We start speeches with “To me….” Whenever you say that, beware that whatever you say should not be taken seriously. Scripture says, _*“The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, But he who heeds counsel is wise.” Pr. 12.15.*_ What is true is true no matter how it appears to you and what is false is false no matter how you see it. Truth exists outside of us. We may be passionate about our view and may even die for it. But that does not make it right. Truth originates from authority. Only the authority over an area can provide the truth in that area. Stop taking your personal opinions too seriously or you may get hurt. Have an amazing day.

Highly Cherished, scripture equates the effect of laziness to that of wastefulness. It says, _*“He also that is slothful in his work is brother to him that is a great waster.” Pr. 18.9.*_ Like Bishop Oyedepo would say, “Brothers have the same inheritance”. If you work very hard but can’t manage what you produce, your hard work is rendered null and void. The Word said, _*“The lazy man does not roast what he took in hunting, But diligence is man’s precious possession.” Pr. 12.27.*_ Ultimately, the result of this weakness is poverty. Now, what can be said of a people who suffer both diseases? They are both lazy and wasteful. Their poverty is irredeemable. Sadly, many times, that’s us. No wonder our poverty has become dynastic. Break the yoke! Have a great day.

Highly Cherished, maturity is seen in the ability to give your word and keep it. It is the ability to make a commitment and fulfill it. Many people find it difficult to do what they say they would do. They will never progress in life. What is worse is those who are so afraid of failure that they won’t even make any commitment in the first place. Ultimately, maturity is developed in one’s ability to fulfill commitments one makes to oneself. When you make a promise to people, the likelihood of fulfilling it because you don’t want to lose reputation with them is there. But when you make yourself a promise and fail to keep it because there is no one to hold you accountable, you are an untrustworthy person. Have a careful day

Highly Cherished, anytime life loses meaning, it is almost always because we are focusing on ourselves. The moment we fix our eyes on being a blessing to others, life becomes more and more meaningful. That is not a coincidence. It is how life was intended to be lived. Jesus didn’t come on earth to achieve anything for himself. In his words, _*“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that THEY may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” Jn. 10.10.*_ When the devil wants to destroy you, he shows you what others have that you don’t have so that you can envy them. When God wants to deliver you, he shows you what you have that others don’t have so that you can help them. Have a great day.

Highly Cherished, who you are when no one is seeing you is who you really are. We all can adjust our attitudes and behaviours when the spotlight is on us but when everyone turns away, our real selves emerge. Incidentally, the most important person in your life is always with you: God. He says, _*“…lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Matt. 28.20.*_ We love that promise when we think it means he will be there in our time of need. But he is first of all there to enable us to behave well. Hypocrisy is ultimately an insult to God. If you know that God is always with you, how do you think he feels when you pretend to be something or someone he knows that you are not? Have a thoughtful day.
