Highly Cherished, one erroneous prayer believers make is asking God to prosper them. If that happens, believers will be the most prosperous people on the earth. It is not God’s responsibility to prosper you. It is his responsibility to bless you then you produce prosperity with that blessing. To be prosperous is to be fruitful. Scriptures says, “God blessed [man] and *God said to [man], be fruitful*….” Asking God to prosper you is like a man asking God make his wife pregnant. The way it is designed is that God gives you the seeds, the blessing, and then you take responsibility for planting it. ‘Hope you are not waiting on God to do what he has asked you to do.
