*The 12th Grand Inaugural program of Al-Ma'had Al-Islami Al-Arabi for All India and Nepal* Written by: *Muhammad Hassan Ibrahim Qasmi,* Trainer at Al-Ma'had Al-Islami Al-Arabi for All India and Nepal *Introduction to Al-Ma'had* Al-Ma'had Al-Islami Al-Arabi is an educational and literary institution, established by the renowned Islamic scholar *Maulana Sharaf Alam Kareemi (DB)*. Since its inception, the Ma'had has been dedicated to the promotion of the Arabic language and literature, offering exceptional services to students, teachers, and enthusiasts of Arabic across the country. *Training Program* One of the unique features of Al-Ma'had is its annual training program, where selected students from different institutions across India gather in a place to enhance their Arabic speaking and conversation skills. This initiative has been highly successful, and many students have benefited from it. The training program lasts for only one month, and this year, the 12th training session was held at *Jamiat-ul-Hidayah, Jaipur,* a well-known religious and educational institute in Rajasthan. *Inaugural Session* The grand inaugural session took place on February 23, 2025, after Maghrib prayer, in *Shagufta Ehsan Hall.* The session was presided over by *Maulana Fazlur Rahim Mujaddidi (DB),* the General Secretary of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board. *Qari Muhammad Khalid* started the programme by his recitation of the glorious Quran, then *Maulavi Muhammad Ahmad Meerathi* recited some couplets in the glory of prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Later, the students *Abdullah from Gujarat, Muhammad Danish, and Muhammad* delivered remarkable speeches in Arabic on their respective topics. A six-year-old child, *Muhammad Taqi* (son of Maulana Hammad Sahib), impressed the audience with his Arabic speech and received high praise from scholars and guests. Following this, the daily activities of Al-Ma’had were presented in the form of dialogues and dramatized conversations by various participants, with Maulana Muhammad Hassan Ibrahim Qasmi. The next speaker, *Maulana Muhammad Sajjad (DB)*, a distinguished teacher at Darul Uloom Waqf Deoband, who has the ability to speak and write Urdu, Arabic, and English all three languages with equal ease, delivered an insightful speech on the historical significance of the Arabic language as a global language. *He highlighted how Al-Ma'had has become a unique platform that brings together students from Darul Uloom Deoband, Darul Uloom Waqf Deoband, Mazahir Uloom, Nadwatul Ulama, Ashraf-ul-Uloom Akalkuwa, and various other madrasas across India.* From Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama, *Maulana Muhammad Salman Naseem SB* addressed the audience, emphasizing the importance and continuity of the Arabic language through Quranic verses. *He made an interesting analogy by comparing Al-Ma’had’s movement with Mahjari (Arab immigrant) literature, and stated that this training initiative will have a global impact in the coming years, inshaAllah.* Following this, *Maulana Jabir Sahib Mazahiri (DB)*, the president of Jamiat-us-Salihaat, Jaipur, expressed his positive impressions about Al-Ma’had and shared his joy in attending the inaugural program. Renowned Indian journalist and editor, *Maulana Ansar Aziz NNadwi* also shared his thoughts, appreciating the training system of Al-Ma’had. The General Secretary of Al-Ma’had, the renowned scholar and author of many books, *Maulana Muhammad Hammad Kareemi (DB)*, presented a brief history and introduction of Al-Ma’had. He also conveyed a message of gratitude to Maulana Fazlur Rahim Mujaddidi (DB) on behalf of the founder of Al-Ma’had, *Maulana Sharaf- E- Alam SB Kareemi (DB).* *New Books 📚 Released* During the event, three new books, published by Al-Ma’had’s publication department were released and presented as gifts to the esteemed guests: *1. Al-Nasiha: Special Edition on Palestine* *2. Khutab Al-Ma’had (Speeches of Al-Ma’had)* *3. Mimma Raqani (A Collection of Selected Writings)* *Presidential Speech* The President of the programme, *Maulana Fazlur Rahim Mujaddidi (DB)*, the Ameer of Jamiat-ul-Hidayah, Jaipur, expressed his gratitude towards the organizers, trainers, teachers, and students of Al-Ma’had. Also he introduced Jamiat-ul-Hidayah and its services and expressed his happiness with Al-Ma’had’s training system. *He concluded his speech by officially inviting Al-Ma’had to hold next year’s training program at Jamiat-ul-Hidayah once again. He also prayed for Al-Ma’had and its founder before closing his speech.* The anchoring duties were efficiently carried out by *Maulana Tawqeer Ahmad Jamali Qasmi* (Trainer of Al-Ma’had) and *Maulana Muhammad Asad Razi Qasmi SB* (Director of Educational Affairs at Al-Ma’had). A large number of scholars, students, community leaders, and respected dignitaries attended the session.
