SJSACH students visited IMPCOPS, Chennai On February 21, 2025, 51 second-professional senior students of SJSACH embarked on an educational visit to the Indian Medical Practitioners' Co-operative Pharmacy and Stores (IMPCOPS) in Chennai. Led by faculty members Dr. Virupaksha Gupta KL, Dr. B. Saravanan, Dr. HariaumShree S P S Nair, and Dr. SreeLakshmi K, the visit aimed to provide students with practical insights into the preparation and standardization techniques used in Ayurveda, Siddha, and Unani medicine. IMPCOPS, playing a vital role in enhancing the quality and availability of medicinal resources, offered students a unique opportunity to explore the methods of preparation and standardization of minerals and medicinal substances, thereby bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
