Humans are inherently imperfect, and it's impossible to achieve flawlessness, meaning *no-one is perfect*. Striving for perfection sets unachievable goals and desires leading to disappointment and frustration. Believing perfection is required for love can lead to harsh self-criticism and low self-esteem. The pressure to be perfect can cause significant anxiety and stress thereby disrupting one’s mental health. In addition the need to appear perfect may prevent individuals from being vulnerable and authentic in relationships. True love accepts and appreciates individuals for who they are, flaws and all. A person's character, kindness, empathy, and values are more important than their perceived perfection. Individuals should focus on accepting and loving themselves, imperfect and all. As well as allow themselves to be open and authentic in relationships, sharing their true self unapologetically. #mythonmonday #ndinewe
