EPOS at "Place, Power, and Words" Workshop The East Port of Spain Development Company Limited (EPOS) was delighted to attend the Place, Power and Words Workshop, led by Amílcar Peter Sanatan at the Angelo Bissessarsingh Heritage House, Belmont. For over a month, Mr. Sanatan worked with creative voices from East Port of Spain, exploring the intersection of poetry and anthropology in Imagining Futures in the Margins of the State: Everyday Politics in Urban Communities. The event featured powerful spoken word performances, deep discussions, and a special guest performance by spoken word champion Deneka Thomas.
