I hear you,@gwamaee and you're absolutely right; reviving Kenya’s trade union movement is both a necessary reform and a political opportunity. Workers are frustrated with shrinking paychecks due to overtaxation, weak representation, and leadership that has prioritized personal interests over their welfare. The challenge is real, but the solution is within reach.
We need to dismantle the monopoly of career unionists, introduce transparent leadership structures, and restore the power of collective bargaining to truly serve workers.
We shall put together a practical roadmap to engage frustrated union members, connect with industry leaders, and build momentum for real change. This isn’t just about fixing trade unions; it’s about empowering Kenyan workers and ensuring their voices count both in their workplaces and at the ballot.
