Imām Yaḥyā ibn Sharaf an-Nawawī رحمه الله: "It has been narrated from Imām Al-Shāfi'ī رحمه الله that he said: 'The best of this world and the Hereafter lies in five qualities: • contentment (self-sufficiency), • refraining from harming others, • earning through ḥalāl (lawful) means, • adorning oneself with taqwā (piety), • and placing complete trust in Allah — the Mighty and Majestic — in all situations.'" — Bustān al-‘Ārifīn
