*Sow Your Seeds. Eat Your Bread.*
December 14th, 2023, I posted:
_"Sow your seeds. Eat your bread._
_DON'T eat your seed or sow your bread. There's no harvest for this."_
I'm here to expound on it.
Life gives us both _seeds_ and _bread_ —but they are not the same.
*Bread is for eating.* It is your daily provision—what you need to survive today. It could be food, money, time, or opportunities meant for immediate use. Bread is the reward of past labors. You eat it, enjoy it, and draw strength from it.
*Seed is for sowing.* It is your investment into tomorrow. It may look small, but inside it lies a future harvest. Seed can be time, money, energy, ideas, or even acts of kindness. You don't eat seed; you plant it. You release it today so that it can multiply and return to you tomorrow.
But here’s the tragedy:
When a man eats his _seed_ —he sacrifices his future for a fleeting moment. It may feel satisfying now, but the hunger will return, and there will be no harvest waiting.
And when a man sows his _bread_ —he puts at risk his present. He suffers today unnecessarily, hoping for a reward that bread was never designed to give. Bread was never meant to grow—it was meant to nourish.
*There is no harvest in disobedience to divine order.*
To prosper in life, you must master _discernment_. Know what is bread and what is seed. Spend wisely. Give strategically. Eat thankfully. Sow intentionally.
*Because the man who learns to eat his bread and sow his seed, will never lack either.*
