For those travelling to Copenhagen, here's some information which we hope you'll find helpful. Please share this and invite others to follow this WhatsApp channel.
Our Fans Embassy is a voluntary service 'For Fans, By Fans', delivered in partnership with the Irish FA and PSNI and we'll be offering our usual help for the travelling #gawa

We recommend using the Copenhagen metro system.
Trains run very regularly, and there are decent ticket options that offer a bit of value.
On arrival in the airport, known as 'Lufthavn, Kastrup', follow the signs for the Metro. π
You can purchase tickets from one of the many vending machines near the exits.
You can buy single trip tickets, but there are 24, 48 or 72 hour tickets which provide better value. These are known as a 'City Pass Small'.
They cost 100, 160 or 220 Krone (approx Β£11, Β£1, Β£25) depending on which duration you choose. It covers the Metro, bus and train.
You can also download the βDOT Ticketsβ app, which allows you to buy tickets via your phone. After downloading the app, you'll need to enter your name, phone number and email address and there are a couple of quick verification stages.
Check where your hotel is located, but 'City Pass Small' covers Zones 1-4, which should suit most.
Tickets can be paid by cash or card at vending machines and are also available at 7 Eleven stores.
You don't need to validate tickets, but there are ticket inspectors and pretty hefty fines.

There are several pubs near Radhuspladsen, which is the main square. This is within a short enough walking distance from the main station and Tivoli Gardens.
Pubs include the Old Irish Pub, The Proud Mary, the Scottish Pub and the Storm Inn, which is a real ale pub.
Usual prices for beers are around Β£8-Β£10 for a large beer, some of the bars will have special offers on, so have a look around. In a 7 Eleven, a bottle or can is around Β£3. The 'Netto' supermarket chain also sells alcohol at lower prices.
The usual 'fast food' outlets are nearby, and a meal in Burger King costs Β£8-Β£11 for example. If you want something less, a baguette from 7 Eleven is around Β£5 and a large hot dog Β£7. Buying two of any item usually averages out cheaper.
Eating in the restaurants costs more obviously, but on our Site Visit in 2023, we had lunch for around Β£12 and a really good evening meal for just under Β£30.

Copenhagen is a beautiful city, but the weather doesn't look very promising!
There are lots of tourist attractions, Tivoli Gardens being the main one. You also have the usual 'hop on, hop off' bus tour and up to eight people can even hire a boat!
If you're thinking of doing any of the above, there's a 'Copenhagen Card' which offers discounts to more than 80 museums and attractions and unlimited travel in zones 1-99. Prices start at around Β£57, and there are two card options (Discover and Hop).
Do your sums before deciding if this works for you. It's available to download as an app. Check out visitcopenhagen.com

On matchday, the Danish police are happy for fans to gather at Radhuspladsen, which is the same square as our last time there, but rain is expected.
Drinking on the street is permitted.
There's a βFanzoneβ operating in the park opposite the stadium with food, drink and music. We think it's worth a look.
We'll be sharing more information on matchday transport nearer to the time. If you are going up earlier for the fanzone, there's a metro station on the main square.
Take the Red metro line (M3) from Radhuspladsen or Kobenhavn H to the stadium to Vibenshus Runddel. This stop will facilitate entry to the main Northern Ireland sector (D).
Metro tickets must be purchased before using the transport.
ππ‘π§ππ₯ππ‘π π§ππ π¦π§ππππ¨π π
There are two entrances for the main away sector (D).
Tickets will be scanned. A digital or printed copy will be accepted and ID is NOT required.
Make sure your phone has plenty of battery, brightness is turned up and that the screen isn't damaged!
Another thing worth mentioning. Don't wait until a few minutes before kick off to try and get in.
You'll need to allow time for security searches and ticket checks and, who knows, but there may even be lots of other people trying to get in too!

There are two sets of 14 steps if youβre in the upper level and lifts are also available.
There's no bag storage area.
Kiosks and toilets are available on both levels. Alcohol is on sale, payment can be via cash or card - but card is preferred.
Flags and banners can be hung inside our sector from the time gates open for the match.
Please follow all instructions from the stewards!
