*DAY 2: SENSITISATION VISITS CONTINUE FOR THE 7TH LASU RESEARCH AND INNOVATION FAIR* The Central Planning Committee (CPC) of the 7th LASU Research Fair is actively engaging the university community in preparation for the much-anticipated Year 2025 7th LASU Research Fair. Since its inaugural edition in 2019, this event has successfully bridged the gap between academia and industry, fostering collaboration and innovation. On Tuesday, 3rd June 2025, the sensitisation visits continued at the School of Transport and Logistics and the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, with sessions held in their respective conference rooms. The Director, Directorate of Research Management and Innovation, Prof. Adejuwon Adeneye, expressed gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, and her management team for their unwavering support. He enlightened faculty and staff about the exciting developments that are set to unfold during this year's fair, reinforcing the notion that the LASU Research Fair is here to stay. The Chairman of the upcoming 7th LASU Research Fair will be the Lagos State University Pro-Chancellor and Chairman, Governing Council, Sir David O. *Sunmoni*, FCA, KJW, who is expected to bring valuable insights and leadership to the proceedings. During the visits, attendees were encouraged to submit their abstracts and participate in poster presentations, with the hope of fostering innovative ideas and research contributions from the LASU community. Prof. Adeneye emphasised the importance of physical attendance and active participation for a successful event, urging all staff members to register and contribute. The Dean, School of Transport and Logistics, Prof. Charles Asenime was ably represented by the Sub-Dean, Dr Joel Asaju, while the Dean, Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, Prof. Jide Jimoh was represented by Dr T.O.S. Owolabi. They both pledged their maximum support and participation in this year's fair by mobilising their members to register. The 7th LASU Research and Innovation Fair will take place on Wednesday, 8th, and Thursday, 9th October 2025, at the Aderemi Makanjuola Lecture Theatre, LASU, Ojo Campus. We are LASU, We are Great!
