On World Assistive Technology Day, we are sharing the stories of some the most vulnerable children in Gaza. With hearing aids and batteries scarce due to market shortages, almost all of Gaza’s 10,000 children with hearing impairments are left to live in extremely dangerous conditions without these critical devices.
UNICEF is working to bring hearing aids to children like Reem and Abdelaziz, but much more help is needed. All children in Gaza need a lasting ceasefire and aid at scale #foreverychild.
