A misleading WhatsApp message circulating about road closures, embassy shutdowns, and disruptions is false and meant to spread panic. General Fannie Masemola has assured the public that law enforcement – including SAPS, JMPD, TMPD, EMPD, and private security partners – are on high alert. There will be NO highway shutdowns or school closures. Business will continue as normal. Any attempt at lawlessness will be dealt with firmly.
