The law cancels the use of the term 'West Bank' and instead refers to these regions by their proper and rightful name - 'Judea and Samaria.' This legislation carries public, declarative, political, and diplomatic significance, especially at a time when disgraceful sanctions are being imposed on Israeli public officials simply for implementing the Knesset's decision to oppose the establishment of a Palestinian state.
