AFTERNOON SHOWERS EXPECTED THROUGH THURSDAY A trough currently across Jamaica is expected to linger for the next few days, bringing increased cloudiness, scattered showers, and isolated thunderstorms, particularly during the afternoons. In their latest update, the Met Service of Jamaica has advised that today (May 13), eastern parishes can expect partly cloudy skies, while mainly sunny conditions will prevail elsewhere during the morning. Additionally, isolated afternoon showers and thunderstorms are forecast across sections of central and western parishes. Conditions will remain partly cloudy in other areas. On Wednesday and Thursday, the trough is expected to maintain its presence, bringing afternoon showers and thunderstorms primarily across southern parishes and hilly inland areas.
