Coder of the Month – Judging Criteria
To ensure a balanced and merit-based selection, the following parameters will be considered:
*1. Consistency (25%)*
Regular participation in coding contests (e.g., LeetCode, Codeforces, CodeChef, etc.)
Daily/weekly coding streaks and activity level.
*2. Contest Performance (30%)*
Ratings and rankings in recent contests.
Improvement over previous months (not just absolute rank but progress).
*3. Problem Solving Skill (20%)*
Quality of problems solved (difficulty level, diversity).
Problem-solving approach (optimized solutions, creativity in logic).
*4. Community Contribution (10%)*
Helping peers in discussions/forums.
Sharing knowledge via blogs, sessions, or doubt-solving.
*5. GitHub/Project Work (10%)*
Active participation in personal or group projects.
Code quality and documentation.
*6. Bonus Points (5%)*
Any additional achievements (e.g., hackathons, certifications, college events).
Exceptional performance or breakthrough improvement.
Note:
_Final judgment is based on the data submitted through nomination forms, monitored coding profiles, and peer review by ITWG members._
