This initiative precedes the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands, COP15 global event, scheduled for July 23-31 in Victoria Falls. The campaign's launch was supported by DanChurchAid and Conservation Conversations, with Birdlife Zimbabwe and other stakeholders as supporting partners. Over 20 parliamentarians toured Cleveland, Monavale, and Lake Chivero during the launch. These legislators represented various Portfolio Committees, including Environment, Climate, Tourism and Hospitality Industry, and Local Government.
