Sindh CM extends Special Eid-ul-Azha KARACHI (June 6): On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah extended his heartfelt greetings to the entire Muslim Ummah, emphasising the spiritual significance of the festival. In his special message issued from the CM House, Murad Shah highlighted that Eid-ul-Azha commemorates the great sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him), who, by the command of Allah Almighty Allah, was willing to sacrifice his son, Prophet Ismail (peace be upon him). He described Eid-ul-Azha as a symbol of selflessness, sacrifice, and patience, urging people to share the joy of Eid with the poor, orphans, and needy. Mr Shah appealed to the people of Sindh to uphold their tradition of sincerity, humanitarianism, and unity, which has always been the hallmark of our society. The CM further called upon the citizens to pray for the progress and prosperity of Sindh and Pakistan on this sacred occasion. He also urged the pilgrims and the public to remember the oppressed Muslims of Palestine and Kashmir in their prayers. The Chief Minister instructed the administration to ensure the timely and proper cleaning of sacrificial remains to maintain hygiene and public health during the festival. The message reflected the spirit of Eid-ul-Azha as a time for devotion, community welfare, and solidarity with the suffering across the Muslim world.
