Access to Achilles Bay has officially been restored, just in time for the start of summer. The Ministry of Public Works and Environment is pleased to announce the completion of a new public access staircase, allowing residents and visitors to safely enjoy this cherished St. George’s beach once again. After years of erosion and damage made the site unsafe, the area is now open and ready for use, with additional site work continuing in the weeks ahead.
