*Job Description* We are hiring a Chief Accountant to lead our finance and accounting department. The ideal candidate should be experienced, organized, and ready to take responsibility for managing the full cycle of financial operations in a fast-paced environment. *About the Role:* As the Chief Accountant, you will be in charge of preparing accurate financial reports, managing the accounting team, ensuring compliance with tax laws and accounting standards, and helping with budgeting and strategic financial planning. This is a full-time role for someone who enjoys numbers, leadership, and improving financial processes. *Key Responsibilities:* * Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports * Monitor day-to-day accounting operations and supervise the accounting team * Manage month-end and year-end closing activities * Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP) * Handle external and internal audits and make sure all records are in order * Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts * Analyze financial results and report variances to management * Maintain accurate records and internal controls * Work closely with banks, auditors, and external consultants * Improve financial procedures and help streamline accounting systems *What We’re Looking For:* * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s degree is a plus) * CPA, CMA, ACCA, or other professional certification preferred * Minimum of 5–7 years of accounting experience (2–3 years in a senior role) * Experience in hospitality or service industry is a plus * Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) * Strong skills in MS Excel (including advanced functions) * Good communication and leadership abilities * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills *How to Apply* If you meet the above criteria and are ready to take the next step in your career, send your resume to: [email protected] *Location: Manama, Bahrain*
