“Don’t forget to take your own *water and snacks,”* Pietro Uzochukwu Macleo told the 131 Rotary members who volunteered to *monitor* the Nigerian 🇳🇬 elections in 2023. Nigeria is Africa’s *largest democracy* 👍 and one of its biggest economies, but it has a history of election violence.
