Sensex settled at 81330, up 182 points while Nifty added 88 points to finish at 24666. Nifty mid-cap and small-cap indices surged 1.1% and 1.4% respectively, extending the winning streak to third straight session and closing at the highest level after 8th and 23rd January respectively. *•* Except 0.2% lower Bank index and flat Financial Services index, all the sectoral indices ended higher, with Metal and Realty indices on the top, up 2.5% and 1.7% respectively. Tata Steel and Shriram Finance were the top Nifty gainers, up 3.9% and 2.8% respectively whereas Asian Paints and Cipla were the top losers, down 1.7% and 1.3% respectively.
