Members of the democratic contingent from workers, students, churches, and war veterans came together to chart a new path for Zimbabwe's politics. It was not political parties that came together. It was ordinary Zimbabwe citizens who removed silos that separated them, to come together and hand zanupf some of its biggest defeats. A young government is needed to bury the zanupf old madalas ways of doing business. Progressive forces need to come together again.
