Some wear the garment of faith but speak from wounded hearts, compromised spirits, or even prideful ambition. They may quote Scripture, wear a collar, or sit on sacred seats — but their words mislead, their counsel wounds, and their hearts have strayed from the heart of the Good Shepherd. *🛑 BE VIGILANT.* You do not go to just anyone for spiritual counsel. Some are themselves spiritually lost — dry wells pretending to give water. Jesus Himself warned us: “If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.” (Matthew 15:14) “You will know them by their fruits.” (Matthew 7:16) 🔥 Your soul is not cheap. Your healing is not a gamble. Before you open your heart to someone’s “guidance,” ask yourself: Do they live what they preach? Are they rooted in Church teaching, the Sacraments, and sacred truth? Is their presence humble, holy, and Christ-centered — or loud, self-exalting, and vague? The Holy Spirit gives discernment to those who ask. Pray. Observe. Discern. Wait. God is not in every voice. But He is always speaking to those who listen carefully. 🙏 Protect your soul. Guard your peace. Go only where Christ is clearly present. Not all that glitters is light.
