*SHALOM* *NIGHT DOSE* *🎈 THE HOLY SPIRIT IS NOT WI-FI, NOT A CLOUD, SMOKE, POWER OR FORCE , HE'S A PERSON* Let’s be honest. Some Christians treat the Holy Spirit like divine Electricity, just flip a spiritual switch, feel a surge, shake a little, and boom! You’re "connected." Others think He’s a holy breeze He comes in, blows gently like a church fan, then disappears. And of course, a few imagine Him as a mysterious cloud hovering somewhere during worship, just out of reach. Well, allow us to interrupt this regularly scheduled spiritual programming: The Holy Spirit is not a feeling. Not a force. Not a fog. He is a Person. Yes, you read that right. A Person capital P. You can relate with Him, speak to Him, and most importantly, He speaks back. “The Helper will come, the Spirit, who reveals the truth about God and who comes from the Father... He will speak about Me.” (John 15:26) You see that? Not “it.” Not “something.” He. Now before you go changing your WhatsApp status to "Holy Spirit Enthusiast", let's clear the confusion. Many Christians confuse the power of the Holy Spirit with the Person of the Holy Spirit. When people fall down, cry, shout, or jump, they think that’s all the Holy Spirit does. *Those are not His essence.* Would you mistake your phone charger for the person who sent you a message? Exactly. *So Who Really Is the Holy Spirit?* He is God. He is the Spirit of Truth. He teaches. He speaks. He has a will. He distributes gifts. He searches the deep things of God. He feels. Yes, the Holy Spirit has emotions. That’s why Scripture says, “Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God…” (Ephesians 4:30) You can offend Him. You can ignore Him. You can even make Him sad how’s that for “just a force”? And here’s the kicker: He’s not optional. The Holy Spirit is not the cherry on top of your Christian ice cream. He’s the entire flavor. Christianity without the Holy Spirit is like buying a phone without a battery you’ve got all the parts, but no power. *Let’s Talk About “Fellowship”* Ever heard of the “Grace, Love, and Fellowship” closing prayer? “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you…” (2 Corinthians 13:13) That word fellowship means communion, closeness, friendship. We’re not called to just feel the Holy Spirit on Sundays. We’re called to walk with Him daily, relate with Him deeply, listen to His whispers, and even tell Him about that annoying neighbor (He listens well, trust me). So, the next time you think of the Holy Spirit, don’t imagine a floating dove or a flickering lightbulb above your head. Think of a Person who knows you, loves you, and wants to walk with you. And please, stop calling Him “It.” He has feelings too. *🛐Not a Power, but My Friend, Come, Holy Spirit.* O Holy Spirit, You are not a mist, a force, or a fleeting wind, You are my Companion, my Guide, my Friend. You speak, You choose, You know, and You love. I stand in awe of Your presence, not as a mystery to be solved, But as a Person to be known. Spirit of Truth, Forgive me for the many times I treated You like an experience and not a relationship, For chasing feelings instead of friendship, For seeking manifestations instead of communion. Today, I choose to walk with You, To hear You, to yield to Your prompting, To ask You questions, to grow with You. Reveal to me the deep things of God. Search my heart and align it with the Father’s will. Stir up the gifts You have given me, Not for my glory, but for the service of Your Church. Let my thoughts be in tune with Your whisper. Let my life reflect the fruit You bear. Teach me, lead me, and comfort me in my weakness. Seal me once again with Your divine presence, And remind me daily: You are not far, You are here. Come, Holy Spirit, Not as wind or fire alone, But as the Friend I’ve long ignored. Now I welcome You. Amen. *✨ Enjoy a gracious night and a restful sleep*
