Lord of all peace, as night falls upon this day, I offer You every moment that has passed. Thank You for the gift of this Wednesday, for the grace that carried me and the strength that upheld me. *“The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped.” – Psalm 28:7**
Tonight, I lay down not just my body, but also my burdens. Every concern, every fear, every unfinished task—I place them in Your care, O God of rest. *“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28**
St. Barnabas, faithful apostle and encourager of the early Church, pray for me as I sleep. Intercede for my soul to be renewed with hope, my spirit refreshed with courage, and my mind calmed with heavenly assurance. *“For he was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith.” – Acts 11:24**
Lord, forgive where I failed today. If I faltered in love, withheld kindness, or lacked trust, I now surrender it to Your mercy. Cleanse me before I rest. *“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” – 1 John 1:9**
Let angels encamp around me tonight. May my home be filled with divine peace, every room protected by Your presence, and my dreams touched with heavenly light. *“For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.” – Psalm 91:11**
If the day brought sorrow, turn it to healing. If it brought joy, magnify it in thanksgiving. Let my soul sleep in harmony with You, my everlasting peace. *You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” – Isaiah 26:3**
Jesus, let this night not be just for resting my body, but for restoring my purpose. Whisper into my sleep promises that tomorrow will be filled with new grace. *“I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the Lord sustains me.” – Psalm 3:5**
Tonight, I do not fear the silence or the dark, for You are here. Your presence is my comfort, Your word is my light. I rest beneath Your wings. *“He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge.” – Psalm 91:4**
As I close my eyes, let me rise in spirit with the same boldness that filled St. Barnabas. Make me ready, even in rest, to walk tomorrow as a child of light. *“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind.” – 2 Timothy 1:7**
**May your Wednesday night be wrapped in divine serenity, filled with sweet dreams, and touched by the grace of St. Barnabas' courageous faith. Sleep peacefully in the heart of God's love.** 🌙💤🕯️
