Former Wagner mercenary with prior murder conviction kills and dismembers man in Ufa
ASTRA has learned that in Ufa, authorities detained 43-year-old Yevgeny Shadrin, a former Wagner PMC fighter and participant in the invasion of Ukraine. He is suspected of killing 48-year-old Dmitry Kiryushkin (in the photo), an acquaintance, on May 11 in a shared apartment on Koltsevaya Street.
After the killing, the ex-soldier dismembered Kiryushkin’s body and stored the remains in plastic bags, continuing to live in the apartment until his arrest on May 18. Neighbors had complained about a strong odor coming from his room.
According to ASTRA, before joining the war in Ukraine, Shadrin had multiple prior convictions, including for murder. The victim also had a criminal record for theft and assault.
