Parents of children who are feeling anxious about the move from primary to secondary school can attend Oldham Council’s free Youth Connect 5 Transit course. Designed for parents and carers of children aged 8–11, this five-week programme offers practical tools to support children through big changes, building their resilience, confidence, and independence.
