Diocesan council sermon by Dean, Very Rev.Canon Dunstan Kiwanuka Mazinga.
Theme:Job 8:20 NIV
[20] “Surely God does not reject one who is blameless or strengthen the hands of evildoers.
Job as many of us think that he sinned against God but it was intended to show God's glory.
If we go through challenges it sharpens us makes us stronger and if it comes makes us bring God closer.
Like Gomorrah sinned and was destroyed.
Stand strong if any problem comes on your way.
Walk in His righteousness as 1 Peter 1:15-16. As he who called you is holy so be Holy.
He is coming to take the righteous, walk straight.
We use the Bible not earthly though we are in the world.
Let us follow Noah stood upright.
Paul in Romans 8:18
Romans 8:18 NIV
[18] I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
Job because stood upright
Pray for those against you the way Job did prayed and forgave them.
Job became a conqueror richer than he was.
The Dean encouraged all to read bible understand it.
He requested Archdeaconries to be one and have one voice so that the church grows strong.
