Clergy licenced Namirembe Diocese are now licensed to preach the gospel. In his first Diocesan council as the 6th Bishop of Namirembe Diocese, Rt.Rev Moses Banja said that all clergy will be licensed both active and retired. He gave out few licenses to those who have passed the test. Others are still under investigations and they will have to meet Diocesan Secretary for more clarity. Those who missed theirs will pick them in bishops office. Among who received theirs includes Rev.Emmanuel Lutaaya, Rev Joseph Luvumu, Rev.Stephen Lumu, Rev Festo Kalungi, Rev.Samuel Muwonge, Rev. Abraham Muyinda, Rev.Keziah Nakazzi among others.
