Sidepersons /Wardens inducted. Rev Canon Abraham Lubega Kisaakye Diocesan trainer cautioned sidepersons or wardens to serve the cathedral wholly. He was training the newly elected sidepersons or we call them wardens. These are called sides persons in the constitution. Must be members of the church Must be a good standing Spiritual and morally upright. Must be near the clergy during pastoral duties. Acts 6:1-6 Exodus 18:17-27 Wardens or sides person are the three ministries of the church. Priest Musicians Wardens. Wardens must have three categories a) salvation b) sanctification c) services. Settles disputes. Must be responsible for cleaning of cathedral. Be responsible for ventilation, air conditioning. Must be God's workmanship and be a witness. Arrange the church. Must have knowledge of church calendar, liturgical colours. Concern for the church. Must have meetings. Make rota. Must know how to lead a service. Serve one another. Forgive one another. Build up one another. Make disciples. Hold the word of God. firmly. Obeying it. Proclaim it. Read the passage. Always take a Christ- centered perspective. More induction on Saturday at 4pm.
