ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದನೆ ನಿಗ್ರಹ ದಿನ: 1991ರಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದಕ ದಾಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಜಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ರಾಜೀವ್ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಅವರು ಹುತಾತ್ಮರಾದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷ ಮೇ 21ರಂದು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದನೆ ನಿಗ್ರಹ ದಿನವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಆಚರಣೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಈ ದಿನದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಕಚೇರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞಾ ಸ್ವೀಕಾರ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಚೇರಿಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರೀತಿಯ ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದನೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಹಿಂಸಾಚಾರದ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಹೋರಾಡಲು ತಮ್ಮ ಬದ್ಧತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಯ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದರು. ಶಾಂತಿ, ಸೌಹಾರ್ದತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಭದ್ರತೆ ಕಾಪಾಡಲು ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲೋಣ.
