Apply now General Manager: HR will be responsible for leading the strategic and operational requirements of human resources, while ensuring that appropriate HR systems, HR processes are in place to enable continuous improvement. Key Perfomance Areas are but not limited to Develop Sourcing and Attraction strategy to support key HR initiatives such as Succession Management and Talent Management. Partner with Senior Managers to implement capability plans or review existing ones to ensure that Staff complements are accurately forecasted. Participate in the designing and delivery of strategic Human Resources Operations initiatives to ensure continued business optimization. Ensure the delivery of all Human Resources projects within specific time frames including but not limited to Performance Management, Talent Management objectives and Workforce Planning. Compile and manage the HR project plan and deliverables within the agreed timeframe and standards. Manage and drive the integration process for HR in terms of new acquisitions and retrenchments Provide support on change management in various organizational projects Work closely with the respective managers to ensure that the scope of each project, covers the aspects required to deliver the services that will lead to operational benefits Lead activities associated with benefits realization and ensuring that continued accrual of benefits can be achieved and measured after the project has been completed. Consult, advise and implement programs to breach the skills gaps between actual performance and desired output. Ensure that the HR team is appropriately managed including performance management and career development initiatives. BCOM degree in industrial Psychology or related field 5 years proven work experience as Senior HR Management experience 5 years hands on experience with HR/ payroll Systems i.e. VIP and HR Premier is a prerequisite for the role In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices Extensive knowledge of benefits and compensation programs, policies, procedures, and applicable legislation Track record in delivering successful OD projects and supporting major organisational change; influencing, building and sustaining relationships in order to achieve results.
