ಇಂದು ವಿಶ್ವ ಬಾಲ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕ ವಿರೋಧಿ ದಿನದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಆಯುಕ್ತರ ಕಚೇರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞಾ ಸ್ವೀಕಾರ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲೂ ಬಾಲಕಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಮುಕ್ತ ಸಮಾಜ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯನ್ನು ದೃಢಪಡಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಇದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಬಾಲ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಬಾಲಾಪರಾಧಿ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರಿಂದ ತಯಾರಿಸಲಾದ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳನ್ನು ಬಳಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರತಿ ಮಗುವಿನ ಹಕ್ಕು, ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ, ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಘನತೆಗೆ ಬೆಂಬಲ ನೀಡುವುದಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದರು. ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಸೇರಿ ಶೋಷಣೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ನಿಂತು, ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಮಗುವು ತನ್ನ ಬಾಲ್ಯವನ್ನು ಆನಂದಿಸುವಂತಹ ಭವಿಷ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸೋಣ Today, on World Day Against Child Labour, an oath-taking ceremony was conducted at the Office of the Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru, reaffirming our commitment to end child labour in all forms. Police officers pledged to report any instance of child or juvenile labour, to refrain from using such services or products, and to support every child’s right to education, safety, and dignity.
