The official launch of the Future Skills For All (FS4A) – Selangor Scale-Up programme marked a significant step forward in preparing students and educators for a digitally empowered future. The event was officiated by Y.A.B. Dato’ Seri Amirudin Bin Shari, Chief Minister of Selangor at the CelcomDigi Arena Hub in Subang Hi-Tech. This strategic initiative is set to benefit 120 schools and over 13,000 students across four districts, equipping them with essential digital skills to thrive in an increasingly AI-driven world.
FS4A is a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Education, UNICEF Malaysia, CelcomDigi Berhad, and MDEC with Arus Academy as the programme implementer. Together, these partners are committed to fostering digital literacy and AI-readiness among both students and educators.
Representing MDEC at the launch was Razif Abdul Aziz, Head of the Business Services Division, alongside Sofia Akmal Abu Bakar, Head of the School Programme (K-12), who represented the project team.
Since its inception in 2020, FS4A’s digital learning platform has achieved significant national impact, garnering over 2 million page views and reaching more than 270,000 teachers and students across Malaysia.
