President of Lithuania: If Russia Is Not Stopped in Ukraine, It Will Bring Death to Other Countries Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda stated that Vilnius will support Ukraine until victory — a victory that includes the return of all territories occupied by Russia. Nausėda reminded that Ukraine’s defense forces — among which are Lithuanian volunteers — are fighting for a shared freedom. According to him, if the Kremlin’s advance is not stopped in Ukraine, Russia “will bring death” to other countries as well. “Brutal attacks on civilians, the killing of women and children — this is not accidental. Russia did this yesterday, is doing it today, and will continue tomorrow. Death will come beyond Ukraine’s borders if it is not stopped. That’s why one of the key priorities of Lithuania’s foreign policy is comprehensive support for Ukraine.
