Conducting serious talks about Russia’s ceasefire in Ukraine, monitoring the truce, or security guarantees without the United States and European countries is futile, - First Deputy Foreign Minister Serhiy Kyslytsya. “Regardless, the United States will remain a key element of European security in the foreseeable future. Therefore, holding serious discussions—whether about monitoring, ceasefire, or security guarantees—without the US and Europeans is pointless. It can be done, but ultimately, military-political, financial, and other factors show that without real involvement of the US and Europeans, it is impossible to resolve the largest conflict on the European continent,” he said.
