Empowering Farmers, Enabling Progress! As part of the Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan 2025, Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) East Garo Hills, in collaboration with officials from MTTC & VTC Tura and the Departments of Horticulture, Agriculture and Animal Husbandry & Veterinary conducted a comprehensive farmer outreach programme. Farmers were sensitised to key Government of India schemes such as PM-Kisan, Soil Health Card and Kisan Credit Card. The programme also focused on promoting sustainable and climate-resilient farming practices, including organic farming, drip irrigation, integrated nutrient management and crop diversification, equipping farmers with tools and knowledge for a more resilient and prosperous agricultural future.
