Musafir is a driver by profession. The killing of Musafir Baloch is part of a broader and ongoing campaign of extrajudicial violence targeting Baloch civilians. Over the past two decades, Baloch students, laborers, teachers, and ordinary citizens have faced enforced disappearances and unlawful killingsโ€”often carried out by armed groups reportedly operating with the support or complicity of Pakistani security forces. In recent cases, these state-backed death squads have increasingly and openly targeted civilians, deepening the climate of fear and impunity across the region. #stopbalochgenocide
