No, South Africa is not an open-door hospital. No you can’t just walk in undocumented and expect taxpayers to fund your treatment. Human rights does not mean South African citizens must come last in their own country. 📍Day 63 in Danville, Pretoria West The community has risen. The movement has supported. And the message is clear: Our clinics are not dumping grounds for illegal access. We are respectfully turning away undocumented foreigners and reminding them of the many other options available to them: ✔️ Travel insurance from their embassies ✔️ Private clinics and doctors (R300–R500 consultation) ✔️ NGOs and charitable clinics that operate with private donations Not the already overstretched public health system of South Africa! When the @HealthZA fails to protect national resources, the people will rise and do the job for them. South African healthcare is for South Africans. It’s not personal it’s constitutional. And to those still shocked: This is the new reality. The era of silence is officially over. No more waiting in 3-day queues while foreign nationals skip the line. No more ghost patients with no ID, no name, and no address. No more misuse of the system paid for by South African taxpayers. Amandla to the Danville Community and the Danville Mbokodos You are proving that when a community decides, the country moves. This is how we reclaim what’s ours.
