*#support* *🌈 June is Pride Month!* Once again this year, the rights and visibility of queer people will be promoted. This includes a conscious and respectful choice of words. The recommendation for gender-sensitive wording has been adapted and updated at the Viadrina since 2016 to reflect changes in language usage. ℹ️ The Presential Board has therefore now decided that in documents in which the Viadrina communicates officially as an overall institution - for example study and examination regulations or annual reports - gender-sensitive wording will be mandatory in future. The personal use of language by Viadrina members is excluded from this.
